Silverfly Airlines

Silverfly was an airline in Malaysia that operated from 2009 to 2010. It was based at Sultan Aziz Shah Airport in Ipoh, Malaysia, serving destinations in domestic Malaysia and Indonesia.

Silverfly was set up by Silver Fly Smile Tours Sdn. Bhd. It started as a joint service agreement between Silver Fly and Riau Airlines with Riau operating in Indonesia between Ipoh and Medan using their Fokker 50 aircraft. However, the agreement was terminated and Silver Fly leased two ATR 72 aircraft from Berjaya Air. Their first flight was from Kotah Bahru to Sultan Aziz Shah Airport in a leased de Havilland Canada Dash 7.

This was also their last flight as operations were terminated. The Executive Chairman of the company was Hasim Othman
