Kapit Airport is an airport in East Malaysia. It serves the town of Kapit in the state of Sarawak.
While previously owned and operated by Malaysia Airlines, it is now operated by Malaysia Airports Berhad after Malaysia Airlines stopped their own route to the airport.
The route was operated with the Twin Otter aircraft, but after years of low demand, the scheduled flight was discontinued and the airport operated.
Kapit Airport sees some unscheduled helicopter services land and take off from the airport as well as emergency services that operate from the airport.
It does have a designated IATA code (KPI) and a ICAO code (WBGP.) It has one runway.
