Simpang Airport, RMAF Sungai Besi, RAF Kuala Lumpur, Sungai Besi

Simpang airport is a military airport which was the old airport for the Sempang Air Force and it is also known as TUDM Kuala Lumpur.

The airport is located in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur and served as the main airport from 1952 up to 1965 when the main airport was moved.

The airport was the first for the city and remains the only one in its boundaries. It is referred to using the ICAO code WMKF, but does not have an IATA code.

The airport is now operated by the Royal Malaysian Air Force. It is home to the TUDM Museum, the only aviation museum in Malaysia.

For now it is used for military operations like transporting troops and equipment.
