Malindo Air Low Fares On Sale

​The low-cost carrier offers an unprecedented mega sale that would see ticket price slashed down to as low as RM49 for a one-way trip from Kuala Lumpur.

The ticket promo officially started last September 4, and will be available to all destinations across its network. It will last for ten days until September 14 with travel period between January 5 and May 31, 2015.

Customers can get a chance to grab a one-way ticket for as low as RM49 for all domestic destinations. For its international destinations, a one-way all-inclusive fare starts at RM99 from Kuala Lumpur to Bali, Jakarta, and Bangkok; RM159 to Indian destinations of Trichy and Kochi; and RM259 to Delhi and Mumbai.

The low-cost airline offered special promos exclusive for travel agents starting last September 3, and would run until September 30, 2014 in conjunction with Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (Matta) Fair over the weekend.

Malindo Air is a joint venture between National Aerospace and Defence Industries (NADI) of Malaysia and Lion Air, the largest private airline operator of Indonesia. The Malaysian partner owns 51% of the budget carrier while Lion Air holds 49% of the equation.

The low-cost carrier keeps a fleet of 15 aircraft, consisting of 9 ATR 72-600 turboprops and 6 narrow-body B737-900 jetliners. Currently, it operates a route network of 22 destinations, half of which to international points in Thailand, India, Indonesia, and Bangladesh.
