8th Nov 2014

The signature dish of Malaysian author and TV personality Poh Ling Yeow, will soon be available to passengers on board flying between Kuala Lumpur and certain international long-haul routes.

Starting December 1 this year, the delectable Nyonya Chicken Curry will be offered on outbound flights from Australia to Kuala Lumpur. The signature dish, which is popularized by Poh Ling Yeow, will also feature a roti-style croissant and will be available on both Business and Economy classes.

The dish is considered the author's go-to meal especially during special celebrations such as Christmas and birthdays.

The collaboration is said to be the first in the region for the airline and celebrated chef, Zahiddin Dris. Though it's already the third for such undertaking for the chef.

Chef Zahiddin Dris is the carrier's executive chef who develops all the in-flight menus for Malaysia Airlines worldwide.

The exclusive menu offering will be made possible with the help of two world-class chefs tapped by Chef Zahiddin. These include Amandine Chaignot, the Chef de Cuisine of Paris-based Raphael Hotel (for flights between Paris and Kuala Lumpur) and multi-awarded Irish-born Chef Richard Corrigan who got his first Michelin Star in 1998 (for flights between London and Kuala Lumpur).
