AirAsia is supporting the Visit ASEAN@50 initiative as the ASEAN Airline Partner. As part of this, AirAsia has launched the “Live Life Unexpected” campaign in order to inspire customers to experience the ASEAN region through its huge network of 80 destinations across Southeast Asia. To kick-start the Visit ASEAN@50 campaign, AirAsia will introduce another low fare promotion every month across these markets.

Spencer Lee, Head of Commercial at AirAsia said they are the only carrier to fly directly to all 10 countries in the ASEAN region.

He said:

As the airline partner, we hope to promote Asean as a single yet diverse destination to as many people as possible. With an exciting line-up of 50 festivals and 50 most unforgettable travel experiences jointly developed by national tourism organisations in Asean for the Visit Asean@50 campaign, there really is no better time than now to explore the region.

IsiTUp.com to Track and Optimize AirAsia’s Fixed Assets

Meanwhile, AirAsia has hired a mobile and Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) company IsItUp.com to track, optimize and manage its fixed assets.

Tony Fernandes, Chief Executive Officer at AirAsia Group said IsItUp.com was selected because of its commitment to deliver a solution that maximizes value, cost savings and transparency through real-time tracking.

Andrew Diamond, CEO of IsItUp.com said:

As a company focused on bringing together value and innovation, working with AirAsia is an affirmation of the value-add that our platform and services brings to the enterprise customer.

In a joint statement on Monday, the two companies said IsItUp.com’s cloud platform offers businesses a two-pronged approach via a value-added service of assisting companies.

IsItUp mostly caters toward SMB (small and medium businesses) in Asia, but has still managed to get attention from several big companies, including AirAsia now.
