Erratic Passenger Causes AirAsia Flight Delay
Meanwhile, passengers on board AirAsia’s Flight AK5194 to Sandakan were probably a little worried at the behaviour of a fellow passenger.
According to the rest of the passengers, the person in question kept changing seats and some even caught him rummaging through other people’s luggage before the plane was to take flight.
Eventually, they decided to report him to the stewardess and the flight was delayed for nearly two hours.
Sabah MCA Secretary Chew Kok Who was in the plane at the time. Asked about the passenger, Chew said he was sitting at 4C, but soon moved to 2D when the actual 4C passenger boarded the plane. He then moved from 2D, as well, when the man who booked 2D came to take the seat he paid for.
The erratic passenger settled at 3C, but not for long. He then approached one of the stewardesses, claiming he had lost his wallet.
Not long after, and with most of the other passengers visibly wary of the strange man, the pilot asked them all to disembark from the aircraft.
Once the plane was emptied of passengers, the suspicious individual vanished and could not be found.
