AirAsia will organize a cabin crew recruitment drive this Saturday at the Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence (AACE) in Sepang where the budget carrier will gather applications from those interested in taking to skies as part of its cabin crew.
Although AirAsia encourages candidates who already have experience, the position is open for applicants without prior experience as well.
Those interested can register on Saturday morning between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM and bring a completed Job Application Form with them. This can be downloaded here.
In addition, applicants should also a SPM certificate (original and copy), NRIC (original and copy), along with their resume and a photo in (passport and full length size) of themselves.
Candidates should be between 20 and 35 years of age, 170-180cm tall (men) and 157-170cm tall (women), barefooted.
But, more importantly, AirAsia is looking for candidates with positive and outgoing personality, as Suhaila Hassan, Head of Cabin Crew Department at AirAsia Group points out:
We are on a constant lookout for more to join our team of award-winning cabin crew team especially those who possess good communication skills, a positive attitude and an inexhaustible smile. Having prior experience as a cabin crew will also be an advantage.

AirAsia Wins Award for Onboard Catering Innovation
Meanwhile, AirAsia has won the Catering Innovation of the Year award at the Onboard Hospitality Awards 2016 held in Hamburg. AirAsia is the only low-cost airline to win in any of the 10 categories included.

The airline has won the award for the “Barista in the Skies” a gourmet coffee product which offers freshly brewed T&Co coffees (long black, cappuccino, latte and espresso) to its passengers, made by cabin crew who have went a professional barista course.
