Travel Weekly Asia Names AirAsia ‘Best Low-Cost Carrier’

27th Oct 2015

Skytrax in June, Putra Brand Awards in August, Business Traveller’s Asia-Pacific Travel Awards in September and now Travel Weekly Asia. For the Malaysian low-cost carrier, AirAsia, awards keep piling up.

The airline took home the prestigious Best Low-Cost Carrier at the first Travel Weekly Asia Readers Choice Awards, once again leaving its competition in the clouds behind thanks to votes from travelers and industry players.

Voting was done on travelweekly-asia.com between 14th August and 25th September, with 31 award on the line and several dozen airline companies, cruise lines, travel agencies and hotels battling for the chance to leave with at least one of them.
