National Malaysian carrier Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has launched Year End Specials. This will enable passengers who want to travel to Malaysia, South East Asia and Australasia from London Heathrow Airport to save considerably on fares.
However, in order to do that, customers will have to book a ticket from now until 7th December, 2015.
Economy tickets using this promotion can be used between 28th November and 8th December this year, as well as 1st April and 31st May next year. Passengers with business class tickets can use them any time during the travel periods between 21st November and 9th December, 2015 and 18th January to 31st May, 2016.
Where Can Year End Specials Take You and for How Much?
The following destinations are included in Malaysia Airlines Year End Specials: Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Kuala Terengganu (Malaysia); Jakarta and Bali (Indonesia); Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi (Vietnam); Siem Reap and Phnom Penh (Cambodia); Bangkok, Phuket and Koh Samui (Thailand); Manila (Philippines); Yangon (Burma); Singapore; Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Darwin (Australia) and Auckland (New Zealand).
Tickets in economy class are priced in the following order:
- £519 for a return flight to Singapore, Manila or Jakarta
- £529 to Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Bangkok
- £569 to Langkawi, Phuket, Penang, Koh Samui and Phnom Penh
- £589 to Kuching and Kota Kinabalu
- £679 to Perth and Darwin
- £699 to Adelaide and Melbourne
- £739 to Sydney
- £829 to Auckland
As for business class, passengers in it will have to “fork out”:
- £2709 for a return flight to KL
- £2769 to Langkawi, Penang or Kuala Terengganu
- £3209 to Sydney
- £3389 to Auckland
Malaysia Airlines Berhad regularly fliers twice per day from London to Kuala Lumpur, using Airbus A380 and also connects across Malaysia, South East Asia, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
