Keningau Airport (KGU), Keningau

Keningau Airport is a privately owned airport in Keningau, Sabah, Malaysia. It is located in East Malaysia and is also known as Lapangan Terbang Keningau.

It serves the nearby town of Keningau and is primarily used by the Sabah Flying Club. It is owned and operated by the club. Keningau Airport also caters to chartered private flights for tourists making their way into the area and there are occasional unscheduled helicopter landings. It is also used by emergency services for access to the area.

The airport has one asphalt runway that is 9,173 feet long. Malaysian Airlines used to operate flights into the airport using small planes like the Fokker 50 but it these flights have been stopped since the 1970s.
