AirAsia X Increases Frequency To Kathmandu

Starting last October 26, AirAsia X will be adding three more flights to its existing 7 flights per week between the two capital cities.

The increased frequency will run over a 9-week period until December 31 this year. The October-December period is considered to be the peak season for the said route which necessitates additional service.

AirAsia X is the long-haul brand of the low-cost giant AirAsia Bhd. It has its main hub in Kuala Lumpur and flies to long-haul and regional destinations across Asia.

According to the airline's CEO, Dato Bernard Francis, the three additional flights will offer travelers more options and schedule flexibility. The peak season for travelers to and from Nepal usually falls on this period due to the clear skies and pleasant weather.

October and November are said to be the best months for tourists to enjoy the natural wonders of Nepal which hosts to some of the most breathtaking scenery in the world owing to its location high in the Himalayas range.

Trekking is said to be a perfect activity in Nepal from October to November as tourists will be treated to an awe-inspiring scenery all over the country which hosts to some of the tallest peaks in the world and the unparalleled beauty of its countryside.
